Allison Marie Phelps Zaubi
Adjunct Lecturer of Spanish

Allison Zaubi acquired Spanish while teaching elementary English in Costa Rica in 2002 after graduating with a BA in Theater for Youth from the College of Charleston (in 2001). She has been speaking and learning ever since, including completing the MEd in Teaching Foreign Language (with a concentration in Spanish) in 2009. Her language experiences include studying abroad in Spain (Granada in 2000 and Salamanca in 2009), extensive travel throughout Central America, as well as in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Chile and Argentina. She enjoys teaching Spanish in a diversified classroom, especially to those with learning differences and challenges related to foreign language learning.
