Research Interests
My research is focused on the intersections between urban space, economy, gender and national identity in contemporary Spanish novels and film. My current projects are related to how different types of genre fiction (especially alternative histories and science fiction) comment on and critique both contemporary and historical issues in Peninsular narratives.
